Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market.

As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Experience using or implementing Oracle, SAP, or Peoplesoft applications. Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud product marketing teamdefines the go-to-market, messaging and positioning for the disciplines ofProduct Lifecycle Management, planning, Inventory Management, Logistics andProcurement for the Oracle Cloud Business Group. Product Marketing workscollaboratively with several organizations across the company to define theappropriate marketing mix, strategy and execution of global go-to-marketinitiatives. Key activities include market analysis, message creation, creatingpresentations and white papers, website management, sales enablement and socialmedia outreach and executing on a structured approach to selling that empowersall global sales teams to achieve revenue targets.

_Key Responsibilities_

A product marketing manager develops expertise in the supplychain management and Logistics disciplines and is responsible for thefollowing:

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies andplans by product, sales play and target audience.

  • Analyze current market position and recommendways to boost market share, considering market and industry segmentation.

  • Collaborate with Product Strategy to ensureplans and marketing materials properly support product capabilities and keydifferentiators, product roadmap and releases.

Positioning andMessaging

  • Create compelling and differentiated productcontent, including infographics, social media copy, white papers,presentations, web content, data sheets, competitive analyses, sales kits andcustomer testimonials.

  • Distill key product functionality andcapabilities into compelling benefits and core marketing messages.

  • Develop sales assets including playbooks,battlecards and elevator pitches aimed at strategic opportunities while enablingsales teams to execute revenue generation initiatives.

Demand Generation

  • Coordinate with various marketing teamsincluding field marketing, corporate communications and business development toensure successful execution of various demand generation activities such asevents, web seminars, direct marketing and sales play execution.

  • Manage product messaging, positioning and ensureconsistency across deliverables


  • Knowledge and background in Supply Chain,knowledge of Logistics a plus.

  • Expertise and proven track record ofsuccessfully marketing enterprise and SaaS applications

  • Proven positioning and messaging skills

  • Experience in writing compelling, high qualitydocuments and other content within short deadlines.

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentationcommunication skills

  • A team player with the ability to work withcross-functional teams to drive completion of deliverables.

  • Motivated individual with the ability toprioritize deliverables in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

  • Bachelor s degree in business, marketing orrelated field; MBA preferred
