As a member of Oracle's Process, Automation and Compliance team within Global Supplier Management, you will interface with key stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Finance, Engineering) and other Supply Chain Operations functions to deliver programs, processes and tools enabling Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER), sustainability and business simplification.

What will I do?

Oracle is looking for an innovative, inspiring program manager who will drive and manage multiple Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) programs that are in-process as well as assist in bringing new programs to fruition. You will:

  • Identify emerging areas of risk and opportunities while managing programs to drive meaningful impact with suppliers, workers, and communities on responsible business practices.

  • Build strong relationships at all levels of the business and our supply chain to advance SER priorities and meet desired targets and goals.

  • Lead programs that require relationship building, data analytics, work plans and metrics.

  • Drive performance improvement of suppliers and embed sustainability practices across the supply chain.

  • Develop, communicate and train the organization on SER business practices and processes.

  • Own policies, procedures, and reporting for SER programs.

What are we looking for in a candidate?

Oracle is looking for a highly motivated self-starter who has experience and a personal passion for sustainability, especially social and environmental responsibility in supply chains.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Chemical Engineering, Business, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering (Prefer advanced degree with a good understanding of responsible supply chains, knowledge of information technology and computer electronics industries.)

  • Ability to transform ambiguity into clarity.

  • Leadership, program management, presentation and influencing skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, negotiation and ability to multi-task.

  • 5 years experience in social and environmental accountability and/or responsible sourcing with a track record of effectively managing a program in an empowered and changing environment.

  • Experience in designing and implementing compliance, regulatory, and sustainability projects requiring cross-group collaboration

  • Experience with assessment and evaluation of labor, social, and environmental, and health and safety risks associated with use of substances and materials in products.

  • Ability to analyze Full Material Disclosures, Material Safety Data Sheets, and other composition data in relation to a multi-disciplinary approach to resolving raw materials usage issues associated with products and make effective data driven decisions.

  • Ability to design and deliver compliance and capability building programs, and manage third party services

  • Track record of being an enthusiastic, creative, resourceful and effective teamplayer with experience leading and influencing internal and external resources to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Knowledge of IT systems for product compliance and sustainability management.

  • Business intelligence/reporting dashboard system experience is preferred

  • Ability to travel

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
