ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Performing the following system staging activities per company standard operating procedures:

  • Software installation (Emerson DeltaV and other software packages as required)

  • DeltaV database creation and installation of TruBio® software and other Finesse software packages

  • System and equipment debugging (including software and hardware)

  • System and equipment functional testing and quality check-out

  • Expertise in the following areas of operating system configuration and administration:

  • Microsoft Windows Server Administration for 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, and 2016

  • Microsoft Domain Services for 2003, 2008, 2012, and 2016. Configuring and troubleshooting Group Policy and Active Directory

  • Microsoft Terminal Server setup and configuration

  • Microsoft Windows bare metal Hyper-V Server 2012/2016 setup and configuration

  • Microsoft Server 2012/2016 failover clustering and replication

  • Microsoft IIS troubleshooting

  • Microsoft licensing for server, terminal servers, and thin clients

  • Understanding of virtual machines , virtual switches, and shared storage including MPIO

  • Working knowledge of DNS, SMTP, NTP, vLAN, Switches, routers, firewalls and NAT

  • Working knowledge of Dell PowerEdge server hardware including R720, VRTX chassis, and M series blade server.

  • Working knowledge of Dell network switches especially N3024

  • System and equipment functional testing and quality check-out

  • Maintaining a close working relationship with our Software Development and Service departments

  • Ensuring systems are configured per customer specific requirements

  • Remotely supporting system installation by the Service department at the customer’s site

  • Documenting system parameters

  • Mentoring and training junior Integration Engineers

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or any related field

  • Minimum three years engineering experience

  • Attention to detail and ability to identify and remediate issues found during testing

  • Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of adhering to strict deadlines

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Experience using the TruBio software
