Monsanto Market Funding Analyst in SANTA FE, Mexico
Market Funding Analyst
Analysis and calculations of the Market Funding Balances and P&L accruals impacts to guarantee business needs at the same time of assuring that Monsanto and U.S GAAP policies are met. This position will also assure that all areas involved are connected and using the same information for calculations and reporting.
Calculate MF accruals by crop, region and brand each closure and guarantee that postings and reporting looks accurately.
Calculate MF forecast understanding variances.
Communicate changes and make proper alignments with areas involved (commercial/marketing/customer service/controllership).
Each quarter gives support to sufficiency calculations and quarterly meetings gathering the proper information and aligning teams prior to reviews.
Support information request from internal and external customers.
To give support in the maintenance of current systems and platforms.
Identify opportunities in reporting and current processes.
Design new models for improve processes efficiency.
Understand Monsanto and U.S GAAP policies around Market Funding and guide the organization to meet them.
Support in gathering information for internal and external audits.
Education, Knowledge and Experience
Required studies level: Bachelor’s Degree
Studied areas: Finance, Accounting, Engineering
Experience needed: 2-3 years of experience in finance (financial planning, accounting)
Experienced areas: Finance / accounting / financial planning
English requirements: Speaking 100%, Reading 100%, Writing 100%
Experience as people manager (in years): No
ERP (Hyperion, SAP, BW, SalesForce, etc.) - Intermediate
Excel – Intermediate/Advanced
Analytic and Critical Thinking - Advanced
Team working - Intermediate
Communication Skills - Advanced
