Eaton Corporation Project Engineer in Santiago, Chile

We are looking for a Project Engineer in Santiago – Chile.


  • Read and understand customer requirements from information provided by the commercial area;

  • Know and use correctly the pricing tool R3 & Bid Manager;

  • Configure equipment’s requested by the client in the pricing tool R3, making sure they are the correct codes and respective price list;

  • Prepare the technical specification together with additional information such as drawings, data sheets and brochures;

  • Prepare a draft of the commercial offer indicating the equipment’s were quoted and its delivery time;

  • Prepare the income of an order in the ERP system and prepare electronic folder with all the necessary information and backrests that were involved in the purchase order.

Education / Experience required to meet position qualifications:

  • Electrical or Electronical Engineer;

  • Experience as a project engineer;

  • Experience with Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Power Distribution equipment, such as Electrical Rooms, Unitary Substation, MV & LV Switchgear;

  • Experience with mining projects;

  • Knowledge of ANSI and IEC standards;

  • Knowledge of negotiation, pricing and quotation process;

  • Intermediate English;

  • Microsoft Office user;

  • Basic AutoCad.
