IBM Security Professional in SAO PAULO, Brazil

Job Description

Security Professional to perform one or a combination of disciplines such as physical security, emergency planning, information protection,contract management, incident management; people protection, investigations, prepare update process documents, delivers security-related training and education to an IBM subsidiary population and develop and execute metrics for areas of responsibility.

May also play a role in the maintenance of web pages and databases that support Security operations, the dissemination of Security educational materials, and the performance of management self assessments to satisfy business controls requirements. Information is collected and maintained.

Prepares and regularly updates process documents, crafts professional reports for management, and develops and delivers security-related training and education to the greater IBM population. Participates actively in the audit process for area of responsibility. Develops and executes metrics for areas of responsibility. Actively re-engineers own processes for efficiency improvements

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Works independently in planning and conducting work, with management guidance on unfamiliar areas.

Previous professional experience in security

Fluency in English, may be required.

Utilizes proven communication and negotiation skills, in order to clearly and concisely communicate information within and outside of the security function and gather relevant information/data to compare alternative approaches and make recommendations to other colleagues/management.
