Essential Job Duties Description
Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate and/or transport our products as our highest priority.
Serve as the primary technical contact for ACL product customers. Respond to inquiries from current or potential customers of all of ACL Line of products. Document customer complaints of all ACL products in OxyChem’s CRM system.
Maintain key product information documentation such as the “Frequently Asked Questions” document.
Perform site assessments to ensure that customers store and use these products safely and approves all new customer ship-to locations before orders can be placed.
Develop and maintain sales specifications, product bulletins and other sales support information for all ACL’s line of products.
Support customer service, marketing and sales, including U.S. and International sales and distributors, as needed to ensure the safe use of our products and to help maintain and grow the customer base.
Identify/Support/Develop improved products to meet customer demands. Support customers in their applications of OxyChem products.
Review and provide product information to update the Safety Data Sheets for all ACL products.
Consult in proper label language for ACL/Tower/CYA , in the print-on-demand label system at the direction of the Corporate HESS group.
Inspect products returned to Stellar, Sauget or local warehouses, deciding on any credit to customers for returned product, deciding whether product should be returned to inventory or reworked, and overseeing the corresponding SAP transactions. ACL-TS is responsible for notifying Dallas of pesticide imports on samples or returned products from overseas.
Represent OxyChem / ACL business on various industry associations and committees. In addition will participate in key industry trade shows.
Complete any additional responsibilities assigned by Tech Service Management.
Advanced Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with a minimum 5 years of experience. Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
High proficiency in Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read, write and speak in English
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to work weekends, holidays and respond to business needs on a non-routine basis.
Physical requirements – Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending, stooping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including the use of a respirator. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
Additional Desired Qualifications
