Eaton Corporation Quality Engineer in Searcy, Arkansas
Eaton’s Hydraulics division is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Searcy, AR facility.
The Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Supply Chain Management. This position will have a special focus on control of non-conforming product systems, process control, change control, and gage calibration/control.

In this function you will:
Provide Quality Engineering support and guidance in Supplier Quality using (WISPER) Worldwide Interactive Supplier Performance Evaluation Reporting to interface with Suppliers to support measurement of their performance
Gather factual data and lead 8D teams through Measure Analyze Improve and Control (MAIC) process to reduce scrap, rework and other waste.
Lead and Perform internal and external audits to the ISO9001 and EQS standard.
Often provide tactical supervision to quality technicians and lab technicians, as well as execution of a cross-training plan for Quality department, continued development of the team’s skills and competencies.
Support EHS requirements for zero-incident culture for the work environment

Eaton has announced it has reached an agreement to sell its Hydraulics Business to Danfoss A/S. This transaction is expected to be completed by the end of Q1 in 2021 and this position is expected to remain with the Hydraulics Business and would transfer to Danfoss A/S. upon close. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton’s plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Hydraulics Business when the transaction closes, Danfoss A/S will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required
OR a High School Diploma (GED) and minimum five (5) years of experience in a Quality role will be accepted in leu of Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum one (1) year combined work experience in a quality and/or manufacturing engineering role within a manufacturing environment
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates who currently reside within 50 miles of the Searcy, AR facility will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Three (3) years of experience in a quality role within a production environment
Experience with ISO9001 compliance and quality management systems
Internal/External Audit Experience
Previous experience with complex machining
Experience interfacing with internal and external customers
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
Experience utilizing quality tools such as 8D, A3, 5Y, Fishbone Diagram
