Cloud Technology Architect

The

Oracle Cloud Security & Identity team is looking for a highly

passionate and strong cloud technology architect to join our

organization. Candidates must have experience working on an existing large scale globally deployed cloud service.

Cloud Security & Identity team develops identity management

infrastructure that powers one of the world’s largest cloud

infrastructure platforms – enabling millions of identities and billions

of transactions daily. This is one of the most important and visible cloud services at Oracle.

security, you will solve unique technical challenges, have visibility to Oracle leadership, and actively participate in the cloud technology strategy at Oracle. If

As

a Cloud Technology Architect for the Oracle Cloud Security and Identity

team, you will co-design the high performance, scale-out, and

resiliency architecture of the platform and work closely with the

application teams to understand their identity and security

requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive architecture, design, development for extremely high volume of user authentication, and access.

  • Lead in design and development of various infrastructure and control plane components.

  • Work with various external (application) teams integrating with the product and help guide the integration.

  • Understand different securityintegration models (SAML, OAuth SAML federation andsynchronization) and requirements across various applications andprovide efficient solutions.

  • Resolve complex technical issues andmake design decisions to meet the critical requirements ofscalable, highly available, multi-tenant enablement of services inthe cloud.

  • Understand various Cloud technologiesin Oracle and the industry to help evolve the cloud identityprovisioning and enablement process on a continuous basis.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Significant experience leading software design and development for enterprise level cloud solutions

  • Significant experience with cloud native technologies, architectures, and deployment.

  • Previous experience building highly scalable and multi-threaded cloud architectures.

  • Expertise with back-end core Java.

  • Understanding of cloud deployment and infrastructure concepts such as multi-tenancy, scale out, and high availability.

  • Experience working with Databases, object-relational, NoSQL technologies.

  • Experience in security integrations such as authentication, authorization, single sign on solutions.

  • Experience with identity standards SAML, OAuth, SCIM and others

  • Experience in end to end product development life cycle and ensuring customer success.

  • Expertise in software defined networking, subnets, VPNs, load balancers, DNS and firewalls is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work in high pressure, highly flexible environments.

  • Passionate about the cloud and server technologies and solving the real world problems.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 more years of software engineering or related experience.
