Oracle is growing its Virtual Networking team within its rapidly growing Cloud Infrastructure engineering organization. OCI is focused on creating new Cloud (IaaS) services from scratch – compute, storage, networking, database, security, and an expanding set of foundational services, operating at high-scale in a broadly distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. Looking for an experienced business, operational, and finance leader to help us scale our Virtual Networking business.

The objective of the Business Operations team within the Virtual Networking organization is to provide business support to enable the successful, efficient and effective operation of the business across the Virtual Networking service teams (DNS, Email, Oracle Health Checks, VPN/FastConnect, VCN, Load Balancer, NAT Gateway, Service Gateway, and Network Usability).

We are seeking a driven, strategic, and seasoned finance, operations & metrics analyst with experience leading a high-growth technology business. You will own day-to-day business operations across very complex sets of inputs and outputs and will work across a large group of stakeholders to collectively drive the improvement of key business metrics. You should have a strong multi-disciplinary operations and finance background with a track record of influencing senior business and technology leaders and driving key initiatives at the highest levels. Strong familiarity with product management and sales activities is highly preferred. Significant experience with building and maintaining large financial models and COGS models is a big plus.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience leading finance and operations for a mid to large-sized company.

  • Partner with product management, engineering, and senior centralized finance teams.

  • Establish relationships across the business teams and Virtual Networking service teams.

  • Ability to establish credibility as the fiduciary for the business to internal partners and external executive teams.

  • Lead the monthly business review process for Virtual Networking.

  • Document business operations data gap and develop a roadmap for data warehouse

  • Automate revenue and adoption metrics and distribute to product and engineering

  • Influence product roadmap and work with technology teams to ensure business needs are met.

  • Ability to drive a culture of using data insights to help drive decision-making

  • Solid grasp of the business side of technology with an understanding and zeal for metrics/analysis to deliver on business objectives.

  • Ability to establish credibility and work with key internal partners to get things done.

  • A high degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, or related subject preferred.

  • Stellar verbal and written communication skills.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
