In this position, we are seeking an outbound product manager to drive transformation across our prospect, customer, and partner event marketing efforts for our IaaS line of business. The ideal candidate understands that all campaigns need to be strategically based, deliver measurable ROI, and drive immediate and persistent change in brand perceptions. We need a person who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a proven track record working successfully with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Drive, plan, and execute marketing events; trade shows, industry conferences, seminars, webinars?, thought leadership programs and social events across LOB, customer, and partner channels

  • Develop and manage budget, calendar, demand gen, and post-event nurture programs

  • Evaluate, measure and report on strategic effectiveness and ROI for program efforts

  • Work on multiple, simultaneous marketing programs that require both strategic thinking as well as high-speed tactical execution

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in a global marketing/communications environment in cloud industry preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field

  • Strong cross-functional team/project management, interpersonal, and influencing skills

  • Must be flexible, innovative, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with keen eye on detail

  • Strong written and verbal skills

  • Must possess in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Eloqua and marketing automation systems (Fusion) experience preferred

  • 25% travel

  • Coordinate end to end aspects of event, including logistics, content, promotional materials, attendee tracking, demo resources, exhibit setup, AV & catering requirements etc.

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical leadership

  • Source and manage contractors/vendors, from contract, to execution and reporting

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
