Oracle Services GTM Director, Software Investment Advisory in Seattle, Washington
Builds relationships with Oracle customers and drives maximum adoption of software licensing services and objectives.
Acts as the primary interface to assigned Oracle Accounts by providing direction and specialist knowledge in licensing and subscriptions to maximize value creation. Develops constructive Stakeholders relationships, which involve direct interaction with different Oracle line-of-business and Oracle customers. Drives the discussion and acts as a change management catalyst and a key interface and bridge between the various stakeholders.
University degree or equivalent combination of studies and experience. Demonstrated leadership and expertise in area of specialization. Experience managing, strengthening and broadening key client relationships. Ability to take a big picture view to think and act strategically. Cross-cultural and cross-functional mindset to operate in a multi-cultural environment. Proven analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to communicate your findings with impact. Typically 12 plus years of professional experience.

The Software Investments Advisory team is a newly formed group within Oracle to help customers maximize the value from their Oracle investments using software licensing and consumption insights and best practices. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative team working towards the ultimate aim of delighting our customers by ensuring they receive a personalized customer experience from Oracle on all topics related to licensing and pricing across On-Premise, Cloud and Services.
The business will focus on developing and executing a consultative services strategy to help Oracle customers maximize the value from their Oracle investments.
This is a global role responsible to drive one or more Software Investment Advisory (SIA) service strategy including building and rolling out the services strategy, deliverables, value proposition, integrated go-to-market, field readiness and communications. You will define the messaging and positioning for our services and, as the chief evangelist for your assigned service(s), you will be accountable for the worldwide adoption and success of your service areas.
Partners with other Oracle LOB: Software Investment Advisory, Operations, Product Management, Marketing and business practices
This is an individual contributor role that that directly reports to the global leader of the Software Investment Advisory group.
Works Globally for assigned SIA service(s)
Innovate, build, launch and scale one or more Software Investment Advisory services in collaboration with global operations and divisional field teams
Responsible to ensure seamless customer experience and high level of customer satisfaction for services managed
Drives one or more Software Investment Advisory service (s) go-to-market and field readiness strategy to ensure that the SIA team is fully aware and equipped to communicate and sell the portfolio of offerings to their customers
Evangelize, build and communicate the value proposition of the service(s) managed
Develops specific adoption and go-to-market strategies for the Software Investment Advisory service(s)
Ensures alignment of Software Investment Advisory services strategy to our customer needs through:
Customer, stakeholder and field feedback
Awareness of evolving products and services
Market research and competitor analysis
Serves as the knowledge expert for Software Investment Advisory in assigned area and creates training material
Owns the success of your activity against KPIs such as customer satisfaction and service delivery timelines
University degree or equivalent combination of studies and experience in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent; MBA highly beneficial
Typically, 10 years experience in a customer facing role one or more of the following domain areas (Oracle specific knowledge would be desirable):
o Software Licensing & Deployment Optimization
o Solution architecture across On-Premise and Cloud (Virtualization, Disaster Recovery, Hybrid cloud, Lift and Shift)
o Cloud pricing and licensing
Experience in Go-to-market strategy design and execution at the corp level, affinity with trends in enterprise software usage
Ability to work effectively in geographically distributed teams
Excellent communication ability to summarize and present complex topics in simple and powerful terms to customers, stakeholders and top management
Strong business acumen and customer focus providing complete solutions to the field teams and to Oracle customers
Proven entrepreneurial approach, striving for business value creation
Experience in large and complex IT environments
Strong communication, presentation, business writing and professional skills, including being able to liaise with both technical/ business & internal/ external contacts
High level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint design
Desirable to have data visualization skills
Fluent in English, other languages dependent on the market / region
