Summary:The Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer supports the Superintendent and/or Project Manager for operations and management overview of all assigned projects and the delivery of all services in each project scope.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

  • Inspect all work for compliance to specification and other contract documents.

  • Report of all adherence or non-adherence to those contract requirements.

  • Monitor daily Subcontractor progress and manpower.

  • Complete Daily Reports for the entire project.

  • Take pictures daily to document the progress of the project.

  • Make sure time-lapse cameras are set up and working on all critical work.

  • Use project software to document and assure quality is maintained throughout project.

  • Review Estimate to find total cost Labor & Material.

  • Participate in external audits and leads supplier and internal plan audits.

  • Maintain documentation on audit findings and is responsible for following up on corrective action plans and areas of nonconformance.

  • Exhibit positive customer service behavior in every day work interactions.

  • Oversee the process for raw material and finished product specification updates and approvals.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required

  • 6 years’ experience required

  • DOD OCONUS Design Build experience, preferably in South Korea

  • Construction Quality Management for Contractors Certification

  • OSHA 30-hour construction safety training

  • Secret Clearance required

  • Working knowledge of Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5200.01, Volume 3; DoD 5220.22-M, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) requirements

  • Ability to travel
