Working as a partner with Sales Representatives and other stakeholders in Oracle, the Deal Manager ensures non-standard transactions are
quoted and booked in compliance with Oracle's Business Practices. The Deal Manager will priorities /manage multiple tasks and
responsibilities, and work closely with several internal Oracle groups.
GuideSales Representatives on the big and complex deals through the end-to-endprocesses
Managingthe deal as a communication hub and a project manager
Understandingand applying current business practices, pricing policies, revenuerecognition policies, migration policies, and current sales compensationguidelines;
A DEAL MANAGER IS IN CHARGE OF :
ContractProcess - guiding sales representativesduring the contract processes by drafting contracts for the big and complex deals of license,hardware, ACS and, consulting engagements, while ensuring compliance withOracle guidelines.
CustomerService to be delivered to the sales team - Providing professionalcustomer service to sales by drafting quality contracts and releasing in atimely manner, reviewing quotes, and advising sales on Oracle policies andprocedures
Interactionwith several Oracle organizations toprovide the highest level of support to sales and help protect Oracle’s interests: sales, legal, revenuerecognition, credit, order administration, migrations, license managementservices, collections and internal auditors.
Attendingtraining meetings and sessions and interacting professionally with peersand managers.
Englishfluently speaking and writing.
Universitydegree in a relevant field.
Minimumof 7 year experience.
Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills.
Organizedand detail oriented.
Excellentconflict resolution skills in high demanding sales environment

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
The Contracts Administrator job is comprised of either a Deal Specialist or a Deal Manager role. Both work in a multi-cultural environment and cover multiple countries and/or lines of business. The work is fast-paced and seasonal in nature, corresponding with Oracle’s quarterly and annual fiscal cycles.
The Deal Specialist creates, validates and processes contract documentation using Oracle's standard document templates, a set of contract options and in accordance with Oracle's policies and business approvals, in response to requests received from Sales. The Deal Specialist follows defined engagement guidelines to liaise with other Deal Management teams, Finance, Legal, and other groups across Oracle to ensure policy compliance and mitigate corporate risk.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Organized, detail oriented, and time management skills. Proficient in Email, MS Word and Excel. Able to work effectively under time critical deadlines. Demonstrates resilience in times of change and uncertainty. Excellent customer service skills. Experience drafting standard contractual documents. Knowledge of Oracle policies and procedures desired. Must be fluent in local languages for contracting country. Ability to evaluate alternative courses of action. 2 years experience in contracts, purchasing, or equivalent. BA/BS degree, or equivalent years of experience.
