Hilton Intern - Revenue Management Consolidated Center (6 months, Jul/ Dec2018) in Shanghai, China

This is an official program providing practical experience for undergraduates interested in gaining knowledge and experience in Revenue Management.

As an Intern, Revenue Management Consolidated Center - Asia Pacific (RMCC APAC), you are responsible to maximise revenue and profits for multiple hotels by supporting the Assistant Directors (ADs) / Senior Cluster Revenue Manager (SCRMs), Cluster Revenue Managers (CRMs), and Revenue Analysts (RAs) in the strategic coordination of revenue management reporting, processes and procedures. You will also enhance the office culture by contributing and impacting team member engagement through multiple different projects and assignments.

What will I be doing?

As an Intern, RMCC APAC, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Assist and support ongoing projects related to revenue management function and team member engagement
  • Ensure effective information gathering and analysis is conducted in order to identify and maximise on all possible opportunities and minimize any risks
  • Integrate with other functions to ensure we exceed expectations
  • Assisting RAs for the duration of the program in building and processing business reports for the CRMs
  • Assist in running an online distribution channel technical audit for hotel’s in the center
  • Provide support to CRMs / SCRMs / ADs and other administrative duties of the department

Accountabilities

Reporting : Update, process, generate and distribute daily, weekly and monthly revenue management reports

  • Learn and assist in the production and analysis of reporting
  • Learn and assist forecasting periodical reports for requested hotels
  • Performs Data entry into various systems, including Excel, Access, Cognos
  • Learn and assist with inventory management on 3rd party websites

Administrative Work

  • Support with managing and delivering specified tasks in building RMCC APAC
  • Work with Assistant Director and Director on RMCC projects

Others

  • Support / manage organising team activities / events
  • Value adding to the team culture, environment and dynamism
