This exciting role offers opportunity to:
Responsible for leading the Vehicle business in China for domestic and export business.
Lead a substantial P&L within our China Vehicle business, as well the growth of our eMobility business.
Have direct oversight for operations, sales performance, market development, customer management, inorganic activity, partner relationships, new product launches and leadership development.
Be a highly visible and critical champion in driving market integration and inorganic/organic growth, as well as advancing the business’ competitive position through efficient management of the operations.
Be accountable for strategic plans, building organizational capability, driving results and developing high performance culture.
Education: Engineering degree; MBA / Master’s degree preferred
Prior experience in and possess deep understanding of the China vehicle industry.
Strong operations background and has managed manufacturing operations with P&L responsibilities.
Minimum 15 years industry experience with at least 5 years P&L experience.
Experience in working with multinationals (MNC’s), preferably US -based.
Commercial industrial background is preferred with demonstrated ability to develop/execute strategic plans to support business or operational growth. Demonstrated strong track record in leading major strategy projects.
Successful development and execution of long- and short-term strategies that lead to accelerated revenue growth in an industrial business. This accomplished through analysis, market segmentation, and prioritization of various products, alliances and acquisition targets, and use of best practice tools to gain a deeper understanding of the value propositions of both existing and new customers and markets.
Proven track record of building organizational capability and talent through effective recruiting, training, coaching, development and optimizing organizational design.
Strong leadership capabilities.
Business acumen with financial skills (P&L and business case analysis)
Senior executive communication and presentation skills. Comfortable with public speaking.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills possess cultural sensitivity.
Drive for results and ability to execute.
