AECOM Associate, Fire Engineering in Shatin, Hong Kong

Hong Kong - Sha Tin, Shatin

Job Summary

  • Project management including project programme, resource monitoring, quality control, technical management and delivery

  • Coordinate among project team members, clients, government authorities and other stakeholders to facilitate project implementation

  • Liaise with government authorities for agreement of statutory submissions

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and any other deliverables

  • Client relationship management and business development

  • Assist Project Manager / Director in project administration and project execution

  • Enforce ethics and compliance policy including Third Party payment, Sub-consultancy engagement process and Gift and Entertainment policy

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree holder in Fire Engineering, Building Services, Mechanical or related engineering disciplines

  • Membership of recognized professional bodies is desirable such as HKIE (Fire Division), IFE etc.

  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience in any aspects of fire engineering and project management. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Engineer

  • Knowledge of computational fluid dynamics simulations and computational evacuation modelling is an advantage

  • Proven design and project management experience delivering to quality, time and budget

  • Preferably with working experience in the design of large underground development, casino, airport, metro, road & rail tunnel and infrastructure projects

  • Familiar with local code requirements and statutory submission procedures

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
