Chenega Professional and Technical Services, LLC (CPTS) is seeking a Project Manager to provide services and support to the FDA’s Office of Facilities Engineering and Mission Support Services (OFEMS) in the areas of program management and oversight of the Vehicle Fleet.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create a data repository in Excel or Access to capture the required information associated with the FDA Vehicle Fleet Program.
Collect information on an ongoing basis to monitor the status of elements of the FDA vehicle fleet for inclusion in the data repository
Provide ad-hoc and custom reporting capabilities
Gather and organize data to support systematic studies to identify long-range and shortrange Agency vehicle needs
Conduct data gathering using the following techniques:
Systematic and Deductive Reasoning
Utilize vehicle databases that are maintained by other Government agencies (OGA) for the input, storage, and management of information related to the FDA program.
Provide data analysis support by cross-referencing disparate sources of data from OGAs to existing and future FDA databases
Serve as an analyst with responsibility for maintaining information on new programs, studies, regulations, policy statements, enacted legislation involving or affecting the FDA Vehicle Fleet
Serve as a resource on program analysis issues for FDA Vehicle Fleet managers and staff members at all levels
Perform high-level analytical functions resulting in products and services that ultimately will have programmatic and management policy impact on a broad scale
Analyze and evaluate in a comprehensive manner FDA Vehicle Fleet policies, operations, and procedures
Analyze responses to requests for data from FDA fleet managers
Evaluate or assist in the evaluation of alternatives and assist in or recommend the selection of the best solution to meet and optimize the vehicle requirements
Plan and conduct complex studies of FDA Vehicle Fleet processes, policies, and strategies.
Design and conduct time sensitive analytical and evaluative studies of program or administrative management systems, work simplification, resource utilization, and decision-making studies for the FDA Vehicle Fleet.
Devise analytical approaches for establishing the approach and objectives of studies, formulate methodology, and evaluate alternative courses of action.
Prepare comprehensive reports of findings and recommendations considering such factors as actual accomplishments versus goals established, adequacy of existing versus new processes, and costs incurred in the conduct of the FDA Vehicle Fleet program.
Prepare or assist in the preparation of a variety of reports used to make decisions and determinations on vehicle acquisition, allocation, operation, maintenance and related management issues
Prepare or assist in the preparation of reports, studies and similar products
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
Bachelor’s Degree Required.
5 years experience in project management/group management required.
Fleet Management experience required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrable excellence in communication and interpersonal skills are required as this candidate will be expected to work productively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Demonstrable excellence in written and verbal communication skills
Basic office software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) are required.
