Chenega Professional & Technical Services (CPTS) is seeking a Project Manager II to support the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), Office of Surveillance and Epidemiology (OSE). The Project Manager II will be responsible for providing project management oversight for all projects assigned to the contracted staff by OSE.

Develop and implement project plans approved by OSE staff to ensure established milestones and timeframes are achieved for all projects assigned to the contractor by OSE.
Manage the activities of teams involved in each project to ensure the project goals and objectives are met. Activities include:
Scheduling and facilitating project team meetings.
Preparing and distributing a meeting agenda and meeting minutes for each meeting.
Ensuring document control.
Collect data and other pertinent information to help progress an activity associated with a deliverable.
Initiate, facilitate and respond to communications with OSE staff to advance an activity associated with a deliverable.
Track the status of and report the progress of all activities in each project to subject matter experts and OSE senior managers in a timely manner.
Informs OSE staff and managers if deliverables are at risk of not meeting established deadline.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of experience in public policy, health science, public health, or related field. PMP certification.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, and MS PowerPoint.
