This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst . Cummins Power Systems Singapore is where Business Analyst responsible for the Business and Sales Analysis function for the Cummins Power Generation – in the Asia Pacific Regions

Thinking beyond your desk includes:

  • Responsible for the preparation of sales analyses and reports for their manager, the sales force, sales management, general management, and marketing.

  • Prepares sales analyses and reports for their manager, the sales force, sales management, general management, and marketing.

  • Assist Sales Operations and account teams with assigned customers, markets, or geographical regions to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting

  • Prepares statistical reporting, including sales performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis.

  • Maintains sales analytic tools based on standard Cummins tools and processes.

  • Ensures effective communication with key stakeholders on sales analysis, reporting and initiatives

  • Engages with available customer relationship management tools to ensure consistency and completeness of sales pipeline data. Uses tool to create data reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead SBP process for AsiaPac PowerGen business

  • Track, review and present sales and demand forecasting to the management on monthly basis

  • Maintains accurate pricing data and data verification; monitors the execution of pricing and price realization.

  • Participates in and implements price adjustments; makes pricing recommendations on product variants.

  • Participates in pricing improvement projects; supports various pricing analytical projects such as competitive product, market assessments, commodity costs indices, etc. Creates reports and analysis as needed.

  • Prepares reports, evaluations, and other research to support business needs

Qualifications

Education, Licenses, Certifications and Experience

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in engineering background or a related subject or equivalent industry experience required.

  • Great communication and analysis skills

  • Data Mining - Identifies relationships and patterns in data by using a suite of data exploration and data visualization techniques using tools such as PowerBI, R Shiny, SAS JMP, and extracts insights into multivariate data by applying principles of multivariate data mining, small sample statistical inferential tests, dimension reduction techniques to understand the underlying structure of the data and enable sound conclusions upon model building.

  • Data Quality - Identifies, understands and corrects flaws in data that supports effective information governance across operational business processes and decision making.
