Job Description

In the Chemicals Class of Business, the Asia-Pac Supply Team is responsible for matching optimally Supply (feedstock, refinery interface, Manufacturing production plans, logistics plans, spot and swaps activities) and demand as defined by the Commercial Teams. Optimizing the overall margin on short and medium term is the objective of the Regional Integration Manager (RIM) within the Supply Team. Reporting to the RIM, the CEFT Manager is one key contributor to this optimization.

The CEFT Manager is responsible for driving the Enterprise First optimization by providing an integrated view of economics, through the development and the use of high quality economic models, the application of the structured S&OP process, and by bringing expertise in problem solving, creativity and ability to convince others to remove barriers. This applies in particular on Base Chemicals where most of the CEFT optimization scope and complexity lies.

Subject matter expert in dealing with Manufacturing and E&S teams on interfaces with respect to Business Planning, unit reliability metrics, Oil Chemicals Advantage, S&OP process, turnaround planning.

Requirements

This role requires solid technical experience in Ethylene Cracker operations coupled with a strong background in supply chain optimization and planning.

Additional requirements include:

a) Strong knowledge in modeling, computing and power of analysis/problem solving.

b) Significant experience in Supply/Operations/Manufacturing roles to be credible when dealing at Supply interfaces.

c) Strong influencing skills and role model in teamwork and communication.

d) Demonstrable success in cross border and multi-cultural business situations

e) Capacity to anticipate and create options to help building robust plans in a volatile environment. Capacity to identify and focus on high value items.
