Marsh & McLennan Digital Broker for Small Enterprises Product Manager in Singapore, Singapore

Working with International Mercer Marsh Benefits Business (MMB) leadership, a core product team and Mercer/Marsh Digital and Technology teams, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation and launch of a new digital platform. This will include liaison with priority countries to define requirements and journeys, overall project management and input into the product roadmap. The position will report to MMB’s strategy/solution leader who will own the product from a business perspective. This role can be based in any one of several global locations, the team will initially be Singapore and London based, however, we will consider other locations. The Product Manager will manage the activities needed to build and then expand the product globally. This includes active involvement in detailed planning and analysis for pilot countries, prioritizing requirements, supporting releases, go to market activities and on-going product evolution. The Product Manager will be responsible for monitoring and tracking key metrics and recommending and implementing changes based on those learnings. Responsibilities : Manage lifecycle of product from planning/definition through development, launch and ongoing support and evolution. Analyze and assess local country products to define needed user journeys in order to define digital customer experience Work with core team and digital/technology teams to clearly articulate how project fits into larger digital/technology strategy Manage all activities required to prepare product for successful launch through Alpha, Beta and V1 (at scale) Work with global and local business leadership to track and discharge operational requirements associated with product launch and support Monitor and analyze learnings and outcomes through appropriate KPIs and success metrics Develop implementation and rollout playbook to accelerate geographic, product and segment expansion Document based on input from the team country, regional and global responsibilities Prioritize and schedule country releases Liaise with digital, technology and business stakeholders to develop business/project plans and budgets Guide local teams on local activities required Support adjacent projects as required (e.g., distribution, insurance products strategy) Monitor competitor developments Coordinate steering committee meetings and other aspects of stakeholder communication and governance Skills/Experience Needed The successful candidate will: Have significant and proven experience in group insurance across plan design, financing, vendor management, communication and administration Have experience as an account manager or product manager focused on small and/or middle market clients, with knowledge of small business owner/operator needs Understand the insurance underwriting, placement, policy issuance, and enrolment process for medical, life and disability insurances (preferably across multiple countries) and Be familiar with facility/panel approaches to group insurance Have an understanding of Agile methodologies and delivering product through Alpha, Beta and V1 release phases in an accelerated manner Be knowledgeable about insurance and health care digital market developments and pending industry disruption Have experience working across borders, balancing local needs with global standards and communicating effectively across cultures Be able to facilitate meetings and translate ambiguous needs into detailed process maps, client journeys and requirements Be able to lead conversations with local, regional and global subject matter experts Be willing to work outside of regular business hours and travel periodically, commensurate with a global role Familiarity with agile methodologies (i.e., some progress towards attainment of PMI – ACP or CSPO certifications preferred but not required).
