To create communications plans to support business objectives and to favorably position Aetna in its markets.Position Summary/Mission

The Marketing Manager, Brand Activation, will help grow consideration for the Aetna brand amongst our target audiences. This role will be responsible for bringing to life the Aetna International proposition by amplifying stories about the brand and APAC operations through paid and owned media, events and advertising.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Drive awareness and brand consideration for Aetna International in APAC through advertising, PR activity, events, industry awards, associations and sponsorships. Identify opportunities, plan and execute on these initiatives. Develop and implement communications plans to support business initiatives as required, both to internal and external audiences. Lead projects to raise profile of regional business and business leaders e.g. developing leadership profiles on LinkedIn, leading PR efforts in new market entry projects. Work closely with colleagues in the Central Marketing team to shape the content calendar, localize content for delivery in the APAC region and drive efforts to publicize content e.g. opinion articles in newspapers, speaking opportunities at events, digital advertising. Act as key APAC contact for our global PR agency for all APAC related news, sharing business updates regularly and managing all requests for press coverage (interviews, speaking opportunities, press conferences)

Key stakeholders include

GM, Asia Pacific Marketing Business Partner, APAC Product Manager, APAC Country Managers Country Sales and Account Management teams All members of the Central Marketing team Legal & Compliance

Background/Experience Desired

The ideal candidate would have at least 6 years marketing experience, with strong expertise in end-to-end event organization and PR planning/briefing. Some experience with digital marketing would be highly regarded. Experience working with teams across different regions and cultures will be highly valued Experience in the insurance industry is preferred but not essential.
