Oracle Senior Consultant in Singapore, Singapore
The primary responsibility is to provide premium quality support to FLEXCUBE users of 70 odd Citibank branches for their BAU queries, Fixing application bugs, support UAT testing, COB and cut-over support on 24X7 basis. The support role also includes monitoring overnight and end of month batches and provide out of office hour support via on-call and remote connection.
Displays general knowledge of the customer's business environment and a sound knowledge of Oracle Banking products with 5 years of work experience. Also should have high competency in Oracle PLSQL and Database concepts
Provide Level 2 support for the various queries raised by the technology and business teams of the client.
Do Unit Testing, Integrate / Deploy units into intermediate environments and support the Testing cycles progressively as per specifications/requirements given by Oracle/Customer within planned schedule.
Use defined Standards/Tools/Processes/Change-Control-Steps and document all work to achieve deliverable that meet Quality/Audit/Compliance expectations of Oracle/Client.
During major outages person will be responsible to drive the conversation toward apt solution or workaround and provide timely updates to business users.
He/she will need to successfully manage Customer Relationship and respond / address any initial escalations from Customer.
Coordinate with all stakeholders including Client IT Team, Support Team, Offshore Development Teams to prepare and provide Status reports to Management / Client periodically.
He/she might be required to provide On-Call support during non-business hours. Ability to travel as needed is also expected. The job also could be covered in shift patterns as the platform is 24X7 support

Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.
Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.
2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
