Marsh & McLennan Supervisor - Onsite Technical Support in Singapore, Singapore

Be a main point of contact for IT/Desktop support services across Singapore. Oversee a team and drive technology initiatives in the region. As an Onsite Technical Support Supervisor in the Distributed Operations Department of Marsh & McLennan Companies Corporate, you will be responsible to coordinate, manage and perform technology support for office environment across multiple operating companies. This role will be leading a team who provide guidance for technical solutions that address business and office requirements in supporting end users by installing and assisting with the operation of their workstations, business applications, and related equipment. An ability to manage staff performance and the quality of service will also be an integral part of this role. - This will be a natural collaborator across senior management teams to participate in leadership meetings to provide expdert advice and guidance to colleagues all office infrastructure technologies, operationsl guidelines, principles and processes. - Being functional in assisting in the setup and operation of audio visual, appropriate hardware and software based on corporate policy for the end user requirements - Providing responses to incidents is our passion and to ensure that all business needs are met within a timely manner with appropriate level of urgency, and follow up with customers on all issues - May assist in administration and maintenance of technology infrastructure components and installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of office telephony systems - Participation in projects and coordinating local “projects” such as moves, acquisitions, etc. - Take initiative to coach and mentor the team and managing performance reviews to support team’s abilities and functions through positive customer relations and working closely with HR on these areas. - Be a contributor to the improvement and enhancement of processes and procedures Qualifications and Experience 8-10 years IT experience with a background of IT/Desktop/Laptop Support within an MNC or Insurance environment Minimum of five years management experience with an ability to successfully lead a small team in the above areas Ownership of coaching, developing team members to encourage high performance. Sounds knowledge of company standard computer hardware - Superior customer service skills Microsoft or other certifications desired (i.e. MSCDT, MCP, MCSE) Very occasional evening and weekend work may be required R075778-en R075778
