Job Description:

Position : Senior Field Applications Engineer

Location : Singapore

Job Type : Full time

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Drive demand creation across the ASEAN region by maximizing Arrow content on designs.

  • Be a team leader and technical spokesperson to suppliers to represent Arrow.

  • Understand customer needs and leverage Arrow’s Business Development and Engineering Services resources to facilitate solutions for customers. Apply technical knowledge to influence designs utilizing solution selling, resources, and strategies.

  • Partner with the sales team across pre-and post-sales activities, providing technical support and consulting to promote demand creation. Technical calibrations with marketing, sales and Suppliers in support of the customer design. Champion return on engineering investment, design win priorities, initiatives, and promotions by obtaining buy-in and support from sales.

  • Work closely with Marketing to manage supplier expectations. Building and developing relationships with Suppliers and Customers, keeping stakeholders up to date on activities, plans, and progressing towards initiatives. Identify key relationships amongst decision makers within suppliers and customers.

  • Attend supplier trainings and business reviews in person and via conference calls. Develop and drive strategic technical plans by supplier line or customer solutions. Organize engineering customer events.

Experience / Education :

  • Typically requires a 4-year degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

  • Strong exposure in Analogue Devices or ADI .

  • 5 years of related experience in Engineering/Field Engineering or Technical Sales.
