IBM Program Manager - Consulting by Degrees Program in SINGAPORE, Sierra Leone
The Consulting by Degrees (CbD) Program Manager is the custodian of the CbD experience for early professional consultants. The CbD program is a 2-year apprenticeship program designed to develop top talent entering the consulting profession, to accelerate their skill growth and invest in those who will, one day, become the leaders of IBM.
The CbD Program Manager mentors and guides CbDers from offer acceptance through promotion. CbD Program Managers advocate for CbDers in aggregate with the business and serve as the escalation point for issues that adversely impact the quality and integrity of the CbD experience. CbD Program Managers serve as a liaison between the CbD Program Office and Sectors/Growth Platform Leadership in which their CbDers are aligned to ensure visibility into CbD program and engagement of CbDers. In addition, they coach and partner with BluePages Managers (BPMs) on all aspects of CbD experience including performance management, promotions, etc. CbD Program Managers collaborate with Staffing and Resource Managers (SRMs) to identify engagement opportunities for CbDers. They also lead CbD program initiatives that support the CbD experience.
To support these goals, the CbD Program Manager specifically:
Provides CbD Program guidance to Business Leaders, BPMs and SRMs
Performs scheduled and ad-hoc development calls with CbD consultants
Provides additional coaching and support on performance issues
Ensures business compliance with CbD Guiding Principles
Ensures promotion readiness and planning with Practice Leadership, BPMs & CbDers
Coordinates compensation planning with business and & HR
Coordinates BPM assignments for Rising CbDers
Coordinates internal project opportunities
Provides new and ongoing BPM CbD education
Conducts new CbD onboarding education
Guides local CbD LEAD activities
Provides leadership with reporting against key program metrics
Supports Sector Strategy & Operation teams
Leads CbD Program Management Office special projects
Supplements recruiting support (business coordination, interviews, CbD candidate support)
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• At least 5 years’ experience in Consulting
• At least 3 years’ experience in People Manager Experience and/or leading teams
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
