IBM Senior Project Manager in SINGAPORE, Sierra Leone
Leading a project team in delivering a solution to the customer.
Overall performance responsibility and single point of accountability for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverable, which includes applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, risk and issue management.
Prepares the Project Management Plan/Project Charter.
Managing all project stakeholders, including customer, sponsor, internal executives, project resources and subcontractors.
Providing day to day direction to the project team and regular project status to the customer.
Managing all required administration and reporting of the project.
Managing the closure of the project and key milestones sign-off.
Establishing an effective communication plan with the project team and the customer.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 8 years experience in IT Application Development Project Management
Experience in working with external customer project delivery, specializing in application development type of project, especially in Financial industries, in areas such as Data Analytics related domain, e.g. Data Warehouse, Data Governance, Data Lineage, etc.
Knowledgeable of various application project methodologies
Excellent knowledge of project management best practices and usage of standard toolset.
PMP certification will be a strong asset.
Microsoft Project knowledge or other project management software supporting project planning and tracking.
Ability to work in virtual team and coordinate different technical teams and stakeholders (good communication skills).
Well organised with the ability to work on multiple projects in parallel.
Ability to work in dynamic environment with flexible approach and open mind.
Good command of English and Chinese.
