Hill-Rom Sales Operations Analyst in Skaneateles Falls, New York

Description

The Sales Operations Analyst partners with the Care Communications’ sales leadership to:

  • Measure and report on sales functions

  • Apply a structured approach and methodology for capturing tasks performed, work environment and conditions, and software used by sales representatives and managers to achieve, daily/monthly/quarterly/annual revenue goals.

  • Analyze data gathered to streamline processes or develop alternative methods forecasting, targeting and measuring progress.

  • Document findings and prepare recommendations for enhancements to sales processes, structure or deliver

  • Develop, execute and measure sales training initiatives, in partnership with marketing, HR or other sales-adjacent functions

  • Partner closely with sales leadership to create tools and reports to effectively manage forecasting, weekly funnel reviews, and performance to sales goals by month/quarter/year.

  • Partner with finance to use data to share analysis on sales progress

  • Capture the tactical and strategic enterprise goals that provide traceability through the organization and are mapped to metrics that provide ongoing governance.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for solutions.

  • Lead Change Management and stakeholder communications related to key tools and process changes within US and Canada Sales.

  • May represent Sales/Sales Operations in Corporate Business Development initiatives.

  • Continue to define the sales requirements for the following: CRM/ Knowledge management, field communications, mobile productivity, enhanced sales efficiencies

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar field preferred; with two years of sales operations experience.

  • Must be able to perform complex data analysis via excel, salesforce.com and similar tools

  • Must be able to work independently and be self-directed

  • Must be able to work collaboratively to implement defined changes within the organization that will enhance sales force effectiveness

  • Must be customer-focused and responsive

  • Proven track record of developing creative (out-of-the-box) solutions to solve problems.

  • Ability to work well within a matrix management structure, with input from multiple managers

  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications, as well as visualizations

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment and operate under stringent deadlines

Experience with the following or similar software:

  • MS Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint

  • Salesforce.com

  • Tableau, PowerBI, SQL

  • CRM
