IBM Commercial Financing Operations Manager in SMYRNA, Georgia

Job Description

IBM Global Financing is seeking a Commercial Financing Operations Manager who will be responsible for development and implementation of asset and collateral management programs, lending agreement interpretation, collection program structuring and employee management and development. The role is accountable for team’s performance against business objectives, audit compliance, positive contribution toward monthly measurements and financial performance, and higher customer satisfaction. Provides guidance to and lead professional work teams and special project groups. Responsible for proper utilization of headcount and other resources in ensuring maximum productivity. Monitor team to ensure all activities are in compliance with established guidelines and exceptions are approved and documented. Execute all basic management responsibilities. Significant interaction with Sales, Credit, Management and customers.

The ideal experienced professional will possess superior and broad working knowledge of financing program procedures, requirements, analytical processes and secured lending practices. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, an ability to mentor and train subordinate employees, and a proficiency in negotiating with customers and IBM Credit management are essential to success in this position. Applies creativity and sound judgment to the design and implementation of portfolio and employee management strategies in order to maximize customer satisfaction and returns while minimizing risk to IBM and customers.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least knowledge in IGF Commercial Financing Management Position

  • At least demonstrated knowledge in supporting sales organization

  • At least demonstrated knowledge in people management and communications skills

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • At least 1 year experience with Excel and Powerpoint.
