Eastside Medical Center *is currently looking for a *Maintenance Technician (Full-Time).
_ _ _POSITION SUMMARY_ * Installs, modifies, inspects, calibrates, adjusts, lubricates and repairs buildings, grounds, building systems, and equipment to maintain safe, attractive, comfortable, functional facilities that promote and enhance patient care. * Maintains knowledge necessary for effective completion of work, establishes priorities, and consults and notifies appropriate supervisory personnel in accordance with Plant Operations Policies and Procedures in making these decisions. * Utilizes effective communication skills, interacts with others in a courteous manner, consults and notifies appropriate personnel in accordance with Plant Operations Policies and Procedures. * Relays important information and feedback promptly to supervision and fellow workers, and actively participates in performance assessment and improvement activities. * Accepts accountability for completion of assignments and for emergency maintenance, demonstrates reliability and dependability. * Utilizes cost-effective measures and exhibits positive behavior including interaction with fellow workers.
- Three (3) verifiable years experience at a hospital or comparable facility preferred
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License.
- Current Class II Unrestricted Master Plumber License, Class II Unrestricted Conditioned Air License, or Class II Unrestricted Electrical License (all State of Georgia-specific license specified at declaration of vacancy), and a Class I Georgia Association of Power Engineer License or satisfactory progress to this end, or equal level of experience preferred.
