The Supply Technician/Quality Controlperforms limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. The Supply Technician/Quality Control implements quality control plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations, inspects all phases of services or operations for conformity to established quality and operational standards.

Compile and maintain material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas, according to predetermined production schedules and order priorities: Reads production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority.
Confer with supervisors to determine overdue material and parts and to inform supervisors of material status.
Locate and distribute materials to specified production areas, manually or using handcart, or hand truck.
Record and maintain inventory of quantity and type of materials and parts received, stocked, and distributed, manually or using computer. Compile and maintains records, such as material inventory records, production records, and timecards, manually, or using computer.
Examine material received, verify part numbers, and check discrepancies, such as damaged or unmarked parts.
Monitor all high threshold procurements (over $3500) to ensure that all government procedures/policies are strictly enforced.
Monitor market research procurement checklist to insure all information is correct.
Interact with all Supply Technicians to ensure research, accuracy and proper deliverance of required documentation in a timely manner.
Resolve all issues/discrepancies noted on Unsatisfactory Reports (UR), Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDR) and Product Quality Discrepancy Reports (PQDR).
Assist in inventory of government furnished equipment (GFE) and kit parts.
Assist in the QA of all kits before delivery or shipment.

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
High school graduate or equivalent.
5 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Professionally and tactfully inform others of proper procedures.
Effective and efficient customer service skills.
Good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
Understanding of the needs of the organization serviced.
Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
Must have the ability to pass an in-depth customer background check in addition to the standard employment background check.
