Eaton Corporation Custom Assembler - 3rd Shift in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Eaton’s Power Reliability Division is currently seeking a Custom Assembler - Finisher to join our Padmount team on 3rd Shift. This position is based at our South Milwaukee, WI facility.
The Custom Assembler is responsible for performing a variety of diversified sub and final assembly operations on our padmount switchgear product line which contain a large number of parts and substantial fitting and aligning of components.

In this function you will:
Perform a variety of diversified sub and final assembly operations on our padmount switchgear product line which contain a large number of parts and substantial fitting and aligning of components.
Set-up, build & palatize padmount Switchgear Units
Screen defective parts or make adjustments as necessary.
Work independently, be a self-starter and pay close attention to detail.
Interact with other departments as needed for advice and decisions.
Perform work from specifications, and/or communicated instructions.
Responsible for your own work, under minimal supervision and instructions.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50 miles) of the work location will be considered.
Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Minimum of one year of manufacturing experience.
- 1 -2 years’ experience in complex electrical and mechanical assembly.
Position Success Criteria:
Follow Standard Work.
Use and Operate necessary or required equipment, products, and assembly procedures.
Ability to read and use drawings, routings, blue prints, specifications, part numbers, and other shop documents affecting this position.
Must be able to walk/stand for an 8 hours shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to lift 48lbs and push/pull 48 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
