How will you make an impact?

Interface with R&D scientist, Product Management, and Manufacturing to bring new HID product to market. Work closely with R&D scientist to ensure robust design and specifications setting during development. At the same time, work closely with Manufacturing to ensure manufacturability of the new product and new process at the mfg site to required quality. Work closely with Product Management to develop deep understanding of customer needs to ensure the manufacturing process and specification deliver the required key performance. Set up product infrastructure in SAP to support commercialization of new product.

What will you do?

  • Provide scientific input and technical leadership in Process Development of consumable products in the area of HID.

  • Produce prototype development reagents according to research design. Develop and carry out design verification test plans to stated requirements and specifications with strong emphasis on statistical validity. Implement and execute testing, using PCR, real-time PCR, CE instrument, or NGS platforms, and software. Analyze data and communicate results in both oral and written form.

  • Develop robust processes, procedures, and SOPs for sustainable manufacturing production, including development of appropriate QC specifications for raw materials, intermediates, and final products.

  • Design and conduct product stability studies to support shelf-life determinations.

  • Drive the completion of all required product infrastructure (i.e. Bill of Materials, Labels, Certificate of Analysis, and Manufacturing Process Documents) in collaboration with manufacturing and supply chain groups.

How will you get here?


  • M.S. degree in chemistry, biochemistry or molecular biology

  • 2 + yrs experience in related industry with design/development of biological reagents
