As an Executive Director, Financial Operations you will be empowered and inspired to do your best work. In a typical day, you will:
Develop and implement consistent inventory and cost accounting policies and procedures and operational reporting/metrics for all manufacturing facilities.
Direct the accounting and reporting activities related to inventory and cost.
Oversee & report on the consolidated plant manufacturing results for senior management.
Prepare accurate and timely analyses that capture and communicate business results, variances, and performance trends and make recommendations to drive improvement.
Provide Leadership to and manages the efforts of site Finance staff to ensure appropriate support of Site departments.
Oversee the development of operations based financial modelling, in collaboration with OCA MBC Planning group, to enhance the MBC ability to understand cost drivers, evaluate alternative scenarios, understand operational risks, and create forward looking analysis.
Oversee Site business case preparation and financial analysis/justifications of investment projects, ensuring appropriate resource allocation and return on investment.
Coordinate and lead annual manufacturing budget reviews, monthly and quarterly reviews, and periodic forecast updates, with operational and senior management for all manufacturing locations.
Oversee and approve and all major systems implementations related to cost and inventory control.
Ensure JSOX compliance related to cost and inventory functions.
Assist various departments in designing and implementing internal controls to ensure adequate compliance is achieved.
Work with JSOX audit teams, both internal and external during JSOX compliance testing.
Maintain responsibility for hiring and retaining a diverse, highly qualified staff and for providing career coaching, growth and personal development for direct/indirect report employees.
Develop direct reports to assume greater responsibilities within the organization and empowers them to act in the best interest of the organization.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.

The Executive Director of Operations Finance will be responsible for providing financial support to OSSA and OSTA Operations management (Operations, Purchasing and Supply Chain) and will oversee site financial teams in their financial and accounting support of Manufacturing and Overhead departments The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of policies and procedures pertaining to Inventory: Standard Costing, Other Cost of Sales and Inventory Asset/Reserves, and the Accounting/Reporting of the same for all MBC sites. He/she will work directly with Operations management and Site personnel to analyze results, drive productivity, enhance inventory management, increase cost savings, and achieve defined objectives. Collaborating with OCA MBC Financial Planning, Site Manufacturing, and Finance personnel, the incumbent will oversee Site business case preparation and financial analysis/justifications of investment projects, ensuring appropriate resource allocation and return on investment.
Bachelor's Degree is required in Finance or Accounting; CMA or MBA is preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of financial management experience, preferably in an operational or manufacturing environment.
Minimum of 10 years management or supervisory experience.
High level of motivation, commitment and dedication combined with a proactive mind set.
Demonstrated past leadership and management skills including problem resolution, employee coaching and mentoring, and a strategic vision.
Direct management within a unionized environment is desired.
Track record of critical thinking and solving complex issues.
Must be a team player.
Ability to multi task.
Relevant PC/software skills.
