EXTERNAL CANDIDATES: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience providing overall leadership in the market as well as evaluating a given market and assessing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, and developing and implementing strategies is required; OR, a Master's Degree with a minimum of 3 years experience as outlined above is required.
INTERNAL CANDIDATES: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field, with a minimum of 3 years Olympus experience combined sales, marketing, operations, sales support, upstream, R&D, service is required; OR a Master's Degree with a minimum of 2 years Olympus combined experience as above is required.
Experience in successfully launching new products and full product life cycle is required.
Ability to project a professional image and strong leadership skills are essential.
Must be able to demonstrate strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary.
Must be self motivated, confidant individual with outstanding communication and presentation skills.
Must be results oriented individual with track record of meeting established goals and expanding market share.
Ability to strategically plan and tactically implement is necessary.
Strong interfunctional management skills is essential.
Ability to lead project teams is necessary.
Must be able to travel domestically, 30%-40%.
Monitor sales trends and updating forecasts as necessary to meet demand.
Monitor market trends including competition, procedural market growth, reimbursement, and emerging technologies.
Conduct product launch studies and clinical validation activities.
Create marketing collateral and tools to support the selling process.
Field work with sales, sales management, and clinical team.
Create and implement the tactics that support the marketing strategies to include pricing, positioning, programs and promotions that are in line with the strategic business plan.
Develop relationships with MD product champions and key opinion leaders who will influence broader market acceptance.
Maintain your expertise as the product and clinical specialist by attending procedures, courses, tradeshows, and staying abreast of industry changes and advancements.
Create training presentations, tools and conducting training for sales at training sessions, national sales meeting, tradeshows, accounts, etc.
Assist with creation, execution and support of Surgeon Education programs.
Facilitate the design and implementation of clinical studies and white papers that supports the overall imaging initiatives.
Perform all other essential duties as directed.
Southborough, MA - The Product Manager will manage the day to day activities to support a portfolio of imaging products and accessories to include flexible bronchoscopes, EBUS processors and scopes, and airway intubation scopes used in a surgical environment.
