As a Product Manager working on the Urology Marketing team, you will be empowered and inspired to do your best work. You will contribute to our mission by focusing upon customer and patient experiences, driving the goals of the business, and doing so with integrity and passion. In a typical day, you will:
Manage the service product lifecycle for the Urology product lines, including creation of service programs for the introduction of new products, promotion of existing products and phase-out of discontinued products.
Perform ongoing program assessments; track the effectiveness of implemented programs and offerings including updating the plans as required.
Work with Product Management team to determine business needs specific to individual product lines and build efficiency and consistency between Olympus service offerings.
Provide project-based support of marketing initiatives related to endoscopes used in ureteroscopy (URS) and/or percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) surgical cases.
Develop strategies and promotional programs to increase revenue, maximize profit and grow Olympus Urology market share.
Perform competitive analysis to strategically position Olympus Urology offerings from a total value of ownership perspective.
Develop marketing collateral as necessary to support programs and promotional activities.
Develop customer and sales rep incentive programs to drive growth and engage both internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain strong relationships with cross-functional groups including, but not limited to: Service & Repair, Operations, RA/QA, Professional Services, Finance, Marketing Communications, etc.
Develop relationships and work closely with healthcare professionals in clinical settings (operating rooms, sterile processing, administrative offices, etc.) to understand product usage, market needs, and the value of Olympus offerings.
Perform all other related duties as directed.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field (e.g. life sciences, medical technology, marketing, engineering) or equivalent knowledge and experience is required.
Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience; minimum 1 year product management experience including support of customers/sales is required; preferably in the medical device industry.
Ability to travel domestically up to 25%.
Excellent computer skills and knowledge are necessary; proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products; ability to learn multiple software platforms for various enterprise tasks.
Strong presentation skills; ability to present to internal/external stakeholders at all levels with a personable and credible approach.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong ability to work in multi-cultural, cross-functional groups.
Ability to complete requirements of OR Vendor credentialing, attend OR procedures, and support customer visits.

The Product Manager, Endoscope Service is responsible for managing the Urology Service Solutions business and for project-based support of marketing initiatives within the Visualization Product Management group. The Incumbent will work closely with the Senior Product Manager within the Urology business and the Service & Repair management teams to support day-to-day activities as well as long-term initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to: building service programs for current and newly launched products, analyzing program performance, developing literature and/or promotional programs, developing strategies for product lifecycle management, understanding competitive activities, communicating with field sales, and supporting product launches as required.
