IBM Software Engineer - Southbury, CT in SOUTHBURY, Connecticut
The Software Engineer will be a member on the Global Infrastructure Frontend (FE) Strategy and Custom Solutions squad. FE Software engineer has software engineering, integration skills, using product-specific APIs to build tools that configure/manage/monitor Frontend solutions and technologies. This person creates & documents solution design, qualifies solutions, generates test plans, executes test cases, and works with vendor teams where necessary, supports solution deployment and operations.
FE Components includes F5 load balancers, BC reverse proxy, AVI Vantage Load Balancers, DataPower XI’s.
LOCATION - Ideal candidate to be near or around Southbury, CT or willing to relocate on there own.
Desired Skills and Experience
Python, Ansible, TCL skills
Have experience of creating application architecture.
Have successful experience in all phases of project life cycle.
Cloud experience is desirable.
Successful experience in creating Self-service Portal is desirable.
Familiarity with F5 Big IP, AVI Vantage
Overall understanding of network
Familiarity with Agile Methodology
Familiarity with IGA hosting architecture
Work in NA ET time zone.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Have 5+ years of successful experience in software development.
Experience with network troubleshooting & resolution from application/data/information flow perspective.
Ability to effectively execute multiple IT projects and deadlines with limited supervision.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience in working effectively within a geo dispersed team.
