Principal Software Developer
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs
for databases, applications, tools, and networks.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will
take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and
procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify,
design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform
professional software development tasks associated with the developing,
designing and debugging of software applications.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new
products, services and processes,
frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommend and justify major
changes to existing products, services and products.
and tasks are varied and complex, and require independent judgment. Must be fully
competent in own area of expertise. Will have project lead responsibilities. Will
be expected to provide mentorship and training to junior developers.
BS degree or equivalent experiencerelevant to functional area.
Ability to lead projects in thecontext of complex, distributed, multi-tier architectures.
Excellent communication skills.
Exceptional prioritization skills.
Ability to perform highly complexcode reviews.
Experience identifying and managingtechnical risk and ensuring reliable, incremental delivery of software.
Ability to define clear solutionsand strategies to address cross cutting concerns (security, lifecycle,scalability and high availability).
Ability to provide hands-ontechnical leadership across the full software development lifecycle.
Architect and lead large scaleprojects.
Manage and present designs, projectprogress and ideas at a high level.
Oversee code quality of entireproduct.
8 years of softwaredevelopment/engineering or related experience.
Recent experience in Java/J2EE, XML/XSL,JSON, Spring, Maven, GIT.
Familiar with cloud-scaled datacenter Infrastructure
