Summary:

  • This position will be supporting the U.S. Department of State Domestic Security Installation Services contract. The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for performing various tasks in support of projects and maintenance tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

  1. Coordinates, prepares, ships, tracks, and receives shipments to and from domestic locations.

  2. Support specified storerooms as required.

  3. Fulfill parts request as identified by contract personnel.

  4. Maintain Inventory Control through tracking of material through MAXIMO CMMS to include asset and location creation, moves, and changes.

  5. Procure and disposition project and work order material as requested.

  6. Maintains manual and automated records for requisitioning, receiving and storing supplies, repair parts and equipment.

  7. Inspects and reports on supply and shipping shortages.

  8. Interprets and prepares supply and transportation documentation.

  9. Responsibilities may include: receipt, accountability, data entry to query and enter information for supply, acquisition and inventory purposes, research and identification of parts and materials from electronic equipment and component vendors and entering information into purchasing database; and recording, maintaining and initiating purchase request documentation for acquisition of component items from vendors.

  10. Assist with the Corporate shipping account as needed.

  11. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Proficiency in Maximo’s CMMS is required.

  • Secret clearance required, plus ability to obtain Top Secret.

  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.

  • Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.

  • Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize.

  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.

  • Strong analytical and technical writing skills.

  • Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.

  • Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information.
