Monsanto Crop Protection Program Coordinator in ST. LOUIS, Missouri

The Global Commercial Finance Team at Monsanto has an exciting opportunity available for a Crop Protection Program Coordinator. This role is responsible for managing one of Monsanto’s largest and most comprehensive marketing programs, supporting our long term integrated Seeds & Traits and Crop Protection Strategy. This position will have the opportunity to work very closely with members of the Crop Protection Marketing, US Commercial Business Analysis, and Field Sales teams where the ability to influence and support Monsanto’s business interests will be critical. The ideal candidate for this role will be able to drive results while focusing on providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with brand marketing lead to design and implement applicable program.

  • Interact directly with key functional areas, understand their roles, and engage them as appropriate (i.e.: IT, Finance, Customer Operations, Marketing, Field Sales).

  • Support the annual evaluation of program effectiveness by providing key data and influencing changes to program design as necessary.

  • Manage program payment processing as defined by program requirements, with a very strong focus on ensuring compliance and providing excellent customer service

  • Coordinate the customer accommodation process by verifying key data requirements and routing via established Delegation of Authority.

  • Be knowledgeable on market funding compliance requirements, with the ability to recommend alternative program solutions and provide training on the topic.

  • Support all internal and external audit efforts.

  • Continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our operational processes and ensure they are documented appropriately.

  • Forecast monthly program payments accurately.

  • Be the operational owner for initiation and routing of all applicable marketing programs.

  • Work with Monsanto’s external customers to develop alternative program solutions that meet mutual operational needs.

  • Be responsive and provide excellent customer service.

  • Work within the appropriate systems to design and implement system enhancements and complete system testing as needed.

  • Partner with the business to assist with financial decisions and resolve operational issues.

Required Skills/experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field of study

  • 3+ years of professional experience in a business-related field.

  • Business Financial Analysis, Accounting and Compliance

  • Problem Solving, Decision Making and excellent customer service

  • Influencing and communication skills.

  • Strong problem resolution and critical thinking skills.
