As an ETL Developer, you will be responsible for the design and development of reports as well as assisting with the administration of the SSRS reporting platform. You will be responsible for all aspects of data warehousing development from the high level design through code development and system deployment/support.


* Design, build, and test Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS 2008 R2) reports, including Report Designer and Report Builder * Development / maintenance of SSRS Report Models * Assist with administration of SSRS environment (user security, publications, auditing, software upgrades, etc.) * Collaborates with business representatives, client relationship managers and technical leads to analyzes, defines, and documents functional and non-functional business requirements utilizing standard business analyst tool sets including use cases, prototypes, data dictionaries, entity relationship diagrams, and business cases. * Interacts with application developers to translate requirements into detailed program designs * Provides first level support to resolve incidents or fulfill requests received from the users; works with enterprise subject matter experts and technical resources to research and resolve issues; provides status on user issues. * Analyze the full lineage of data that shows up in the report. Starting from the report, work backwards to the reporting layer, the staging layer, the feeds from the source system and if necessary the source system to find the root cause of an issue or question the user has for a particular report. * Help develop and maintain reporting standards * Utilize standard development methodology throughout project life cycle * Build solutions focused on long-term supportability and scalability as well as coach and mentor others on building supportable solutions. * Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related degree. * Equivalent work experience may substitute degree requirement. * Minimum of 2-4 years of Information Technology experience including database and web application design.
