Monsanto Service Integration Lead in ST. LOUIS, Missouri

Monsanto is currently seeking a Service Integration Lead to join our IT Digital Foundations Team. The goal of the Service Integration Lead is to ensure that Service Integration and Management (SIAM) strategy growth is at the enterprise level by developing the SIAM organization to ensure appropriate staffing up-skilling and constant development over time as appropriate to address the evolving circumstances in sourcing engagement.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete work necessary for defining the strategy and building a strategic SIAM organization.

  • Oversee development of processes and organization capability to execute its business strategy.

  • Provide effective leadership in support of the SIAM organization including resources, budget, structure, and policies and procedures.

  • Interact on an executive level within Monsanto to ensure that the SIAM organization's strategy and sourcing related activities address Monsanto's needs.

  • Approve assignments to key positions within the SIAM organization.

  • Ensures satisfaction with IS services by assessing expectations, making sure actions are taken to close any gaps, and influencing senior stakeholder perceptions of IS service.

  • Manage the SIAM organization.

  • Maintain effective relationships with the Suppliers(s) and client executives at all levels.

  • Operate and manage SIAM governance and management team.

  • Monitor and improve the quality of the relationships with Monsanto and key suppliers.

  • Participate in Supplier Governance and Review Sessions.

  • Work with key stakeholder groups to ensure the overall effectiveness of SAM organization's initiatives.

  • Ensure provision of training required to build internal skills to operate SIAM Governance model.

  • Experience with BMC's Suite of Service Management applications (Remedy, CMDB, etc.)

  • Promote and encourage the use of industry standard best practices in the provision of services, including ITIL.

  • Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to ensure business support for ITSM transformation.

  • Collaborate with IT Strategy and Architecture team to align the ITSM Roadmap with the overall IT Roadmap.

Required Education and Skills/Experience:

  • Must have one of the following:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, IT, Engineering or similar discipline and 10+ years relevant work experience (supplier experience may be considered), OR

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma and 15+ years of relevant work experience (supplier experience may be considered)

  • At least 10 years of experience with developing and leading high performing teams

  • Proven experience in a people management position and with leading large and diverse IS teams

  • Deep understanding of the IT industry and the implications of emerging technologies for the wider business environment

  • Ability to develop long-term strategic relationships with clients, partners, industry leaders and government

  • Clear leadership and the ability to influence and persuade

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with ability to communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences including senior leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead change at the executive level with a focus on service delivery and financial results

  • Cultural awareness and the ability to work in a complex, multicultural and global team

  • Fluency in the English language

  • ITIL Certification

Desired Education and Skills/Experience:

  • Familiarity with Remedy

  • Experience with BMC Suite or Service Management applications and/or ServiceNow

  • Understanding of process improvement frameworks such as Lean and Six Sigma

  • Six Sigma Black Belt

  • Knowledge of COBIT and/or CMMI
