Job Description

Preferred Locations: RTP, NC, San Francisco, Austin, Boston, NY

Talent Acquisition Influencer (Security) will have deep domain expertise in recruiting in Security- one of IBM's strategic skill investment areas for 2018. The TA Influencer will work across TA at a global level creating synergy, capturing best practices, and guiding delivery for specific skills and generating domain specific pipelines of talent.

The TA Influencer must be a recognized thought leader in the skills domain area, frequently sought out by peers and business leaders to provide effective strategies to build and maintain a global pipeline of ready now leads/candidates in the given domain area. This professional will seek out opportunities to market the IBM Strategic Sourcing model to secure new IBM client engagements.

The TA Influencer will secure and maintain a tool kit of proven social media, job boards, user group, search techniques, collaboration tools for the specific skills that can be shared across our pipelines to drive improved hiring results. Ideally, the leader will create IBM social media content in partnership with the Talent Attraction team, specific to the skills pipeline including writing blogs and maintaining ‘IBM sparkler’ content. Where appropriate, the Pipeline Lead will manage affiliated ambassador programs (i.e. Tech Re-Entry for Diversity Pipeline) and attend national conferences as the TA focal for this skills area.

Ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of how to attract talent globally for our security initiatives: Cybersecurity Engineer, Security Consultants, Software Security Engineers, Network Security Architect, Penetration Testers and Cyber Incident Responder. They will serve as a SME on how to attract talent with secret clearances and certifications.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5 years of TA experience with a strong emphasis on external compete hiring

  • Deep expertise attracting Security talent. Ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of how to attract talent globally for our security initiatives: Cybersecurity Engineer, Security Consultants, Software Security Engineers, Network Security Architect, Penetration Testers and Cyber Incident Responder. They will serve as a SME on how to attract talent with secret clearances and certifications.

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Prior project management or leadership experience

  • Experience in with a large global technology company

  • Strong social eminence around talent acquisition
