Summary:

· TheSr. Test Analyst performs analysis of documented user requirements and assists in the design of test plans in support of user requirements. TheSr. Test Analyst reviews user application system requirements documentation; design, define and document unit and application test plans; transform test plans into test scripts and execute those scripts. Additionally, theSr. Test Analyst will ensure that testing conclusions and recommendations are fully supported by test results, and those project managers are fully informed of testing status and application deviations from documented user requirements.

· Participate in all phases of risk management assessment regarding the system under test. Responsible for ensuring proper execution of test scripts and documentation of test results in test logs or defect tracking systems.

· Ensure that the test designs and documentation support all applicable standards, timelines and budgets. Develop test data to be used in performing the required tests.

· Ensure alignment with the DoD 5000.02 process and test and evaluation requirements.

· Contribute to and review the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP).

· Support operational and interoperability test oversight activities, which may include, but are not limited to:

· Plan and coordinate operational and interoperability test activities.

· Confirm configuration baselines of test labs/environments.

· Support developmental test oversight activities, which may include, but are not limited to:

o Review and provide feedback on test strategies, plans, procedures, scenarios, scripts, and test results, and reports.

o Witness test events on behalf of the Government.

· Support other Government test activities that may include, but are not limited to:

o Assist with the planning, development, and execution of Test Event Plans to include test procedures, scenarios, scripts, data collection, and reporting.

o Assist in the planning, preparation, and conduct of Test Readiness Reviews (i.e., TRR, OTRR), to include defining entrance and exit criteria.

o Assist with the development and delivery of test reporting products (e.g., reports, briefings, and metrics) as required.

· Coordinate with Working IPTs to develop schedules, prepare agendas / briefing slides, and prepare/distribute meeting minutes.

· Submit Test and Evaluation project deliverables upon Government request.

· Engage with user authorities to ensure synchronization of program activities with user needs/requirements.

· Participate in reviews to assess alignment with program objectives and requirements and determine feasibility of execution within the defined program baselines.

· Responsible for/or assist in the analysis of test results, document conclusions and makes recommendations as supported by such analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

· Bachelor’s Degree and 8 or more years of related experience required.

o Additional experience may be used in lieu of a degree.

o Additional education or relevant higher level certifications may be used in lieu of experience.

· 5 years of experience as a Test Analyst (or similar role) on a large DoD software program

· Possess and maintain a valid state operator's license.

· Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.

· Current NACLC (government background investigation less than 10 years old)

· Strong communications skills (both written and oral), strong customer service and excellent interpersonal skills, ability to listen and understand what is being described by the end user as well as the ability to explain problem resolutions when necessary

· Ability to occasionally work after hours and/or on-call support

· Ability to work independently without direct supervision or guidance

· Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
