Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.

The Solution Consulting Success Specialist is charged with building a repeatable and scalable program to drive sales motion and develop solution consultants in the GBU. A major focus of the role will be to drive the global consistency and adoption effort of the NetSuite SuiteSuccess Customer Success Methodology for the Pre-Sales Solution Consulting Organization. Solution Consulting is redefining how we deliver value in the pre-sales cycle by partnering with our prospects and customers to deliver industry leading practices in the solution cycle to help reduce risk and increase time to value. We are looking for an experienced leader to join our growing team to help us to continue to scale our SuiteSuccess program and have an impact across all of our programs and initiatives. This is a crucial hire for our team as it is part-time leader, part-time sales coach, part-time program manager and part-time designer. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to mold and grow an organization while also working very closely with the sales and the Services organizations and their respective teams.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Lead the SuiteSucess program vertically, owning responsibility for adoption in the pre sales organization in the region
Work in a team to design, develop and deliver SC training content, including discovery, alignment, objection handling and other key sales process skills, via webex, phone calls or live training ensuring consistency across regions
Develop and deliver specific SC training at sales bootcamp for all new hires
Work with the Solution Consultant Associate program owners to drive enablement of SuiteSuccess methodology and SC soft skills in the development program.
Evolve all SC development programs to align with the short term and long term strategies of the business to help drive consistent, profitable growth in revenue
Collaborate with subject matter experts and Centres of Excellence to develop content and learning paths for onboarding and broader enablement across a variety of areas, such as buyer personas and industry deep dives
Partner with cross functional teams to develop and roll out appropriate additions to the core program to supplement competitive, value, etc. messaging.
Participate in the broader development programs for the global NetSuite pre-sales organization
5-8 years in high tech company*
3-5 years working for an enterprise software company*
2-5 years experience in an enablement role mentoring others*
2 years experience working with NetSuite in a Pre-sales capacity*
2 years in a team lead / project manager role*
Experience in leading and mentoring others*
Understanding of how software technology is used to solve business problems, with domain expertise in at least 1 or 2 industries (e.g., software, services, wholesale/distribution, etc.)*
Excellent presentation and communications skills; ability to assimilate complex concepts and clearly articulate business value*
Ability to work and communicate well with various stakeholders from cross departmental teams and leadership*
The ability to partner well with teams and drive projects forward is essential to the success of this role*
Abilty to provide feedback, coach, lead and evolve the success of a program with vertical stakeholders*
Competency and interest in current tools set (Captivate, LMS experience) is a plus*
Previous experience and the ability to supervise a group or lead a program/project*
Bachelor s Degree or recognized equivalency or achievement of recognized professional level *
