What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Lead a team of between 7 and 11 dedicated DSP engineers

  • Occasional travel, up to 25%, (1-2 weeks in duration) several time a year to assist Program Managers in interactions with their customers as a technical representative of the SkyTracker™ family of systems

  • Direct and oversee baseline development, customer driven requirements and development, O&M support for our deployed operational systems, integration of new advanced capabilities into the baseline, coordination for DSP support for demonstrations and competitive exercises.

  • Provide direction and mentorship to new DSP Engineers to help them grow and flourish.

  • Work hand in hand with SkyTracker™ leadership to effectively and efficiently manage current tasking and future growth.

  • Coordinate between your portion of the DSP group and the Program Managers of the SkyTracker™ family.

  • Code primarily in C, C++, and Python.

  • Development work will be performed mostly in the signal processing environments of X-Midas and M2Extra.

  • Ensure that the DSP subsystem(s) are ready for the quarterly software releases.

  • Be an active member of the Sprint Planning group.

  • Support quarterly ERB/CCB.

  • Report directly to the SkyTracker™ Lead Technology Architect/ DSP Lead.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Security Clearance: TS/SCI Poly must be current

  • Masters or Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar experience.

  • 10+ years as DSP development.

  • 0-5 years in a management role.

  • Software development experience; with a focus on DSP.

  • Advanced level understanding of Signal processing and RF systems.

  • Experience interacting directly with upper management and end customers.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Desired experience with X-Midas, M2Extra, MATLAB, and/or GNU Radio.

  • Software Defined Radio (SDR) experience including receiver architectures, software channelization, modulation/demodulation techniques, spectral analysis, error correcting codes.

  • JIRA/Confluence Experience.

  • Familiarity with:

  • Linux systems

  • TDOA Geolocation

  • EW Systems

  • RF Acquisition
