CACI International Lead Systems Engineer for Life Cycle Support - Counter RCMA Mission in Sterling, Virginia

Job Description


Opportunity to serve as a Lead System Engineer overseeing a team of system engineers who support a variety of tasks across the Counter-RCMA mission. The tasks will cover overseeing areas such as requirements definition, sprint planning oversight, and testing quarterly releases. As the program continues to expand implementing a customer support function will be key.

  • Provide technical support in defining system architecture, system design, system integration and technical management

  • Manage a team of System Engineers that support Life Cycle functions

  • Responsible for execution of software release schedule and the capabilities that should be part of those releases

  • Verify/Validate implementation of requirements are meeting mission needs

  • Responsible for implementing and leading an E1/E2 Program support desk for multiple customers


  • Managing experience of technical teams

  • Systems development life cycle experience

  • Experience in system testing and analysis and the software engineering process

  • Agile experience/knowledge of key agile techniques

  • Experience with ERB/CCB process

  • Excellent written and verbal skills to generate CDRLs for customer delivery

  • Ability to present technical information to numerous stakeholders

  • Detail oriented individual


  • Previous experience with DoD programs

  • Hardware / RF / Radar experience

  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence
