Job Description

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Work with a team using agile development methodologies to support a common baseline delivered to multiple customers.

  • Design and implement solutions to interesting engineering problems.

  • Using Lean and DevOps methodologies, you’ll identify constraints and employ creative solutions to break bottlenecks, improve processes, and create efficiencies.

  • Find ways to make automation do the heavy lifting.

  • Design and code automated tests and testing frameworks, test tools, CI infrastructure, automated deployments, and design scalable maintenance practices.

  • Implement CI pipelines for new projects and use DevOps principles and practices to get the most out of the tool chain.

  • Develop scalable test frameworks, analyze complex system architecture, and recommend solutions for system testability.

  • Automate environment deployments into varied and complex environments – using virtual machines, container technology, and bare metal servers.

  • Collaborate with team members from all parts of the development lifecycle, from development to operations to security, solving technical challenges, and providing and receiving guidance and mentor-ship.

  • Architect testable, maintainable code.

  • Facilitate a smooth delivery of a robust and stable product by teaming with customers and vendors.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain clearance level required is dependent on the type of clearance supported by our client. (TS/SCI with POLY+) Already cleared is preferred. Willing to except good candidates who are clearable.

  • Education:University Degree (BA) or equivalent experience and 5-7 years of related work experience.

  • Exposure to product development lifecycle (concept, design, implementation, test, and production)

  • Bachelor's degree in CS or related and a minimum 5 years related work experience, preferably in a test-driven development environment.

  • Experience with Linux Operating Systems (Red Hat / CentOS preferred)

  • Experience with virtualization platforms (oVirt / RHEV and KVM preferred)

  • Experience with container technologies such as creating images from Dockerfiles.

  • Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (GitLab CI and Jenkins preferred)

  • Experience with automation tools such as Puppet and Ansible.

  • Experience with bash shell, and scripting in languages such as Python will be indispensable assets.

  • Knowledge of source control including git.

Required Certifications:

  • DoD 8570.1 IAT Level 2 or higher certification.

  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator or higher.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with building binary RPMs for Red Hat systems.

  • System Administration experience in provisioning bare-metal servers, configuring switches, and configuring storage arrays.
