We are looking for a Systems Engineering Lead with interest in Program Management. This individual will have a strong Systems engineering background and is excited about using the latest technologies available. The right candidate will be an experienced System/Software/RF Engineer looking to grow into Project Management while keeping your technical skills sharp.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Research, document, develop, and deploy systems solutions in a continuously evolving development environment. You will work with a team of Engineers and Program Managers.

  • Lead and perform traditional System Engineering tasks (requirement creation/management, create and maintain technical documentation, lead technical discussions, etc.)

  • Lead efforts and take on responsibilities to include participation and/or ownership regarding the execution and growth of one or more Space Intel division programs.

  • Ensure Systems and Programs adhere to defined schedule and budget.

  • Work daily with customers to provide status and insight into program execution.

  • Learn and participate in the day-to-day execution of one or more programs ( for example programs that could have a total of between $2M and $4M in annual revenue).

  • The Systems Engineering Lead / Program Manager is expected to help drive the identification of opportunities to work across the division as well as the operating group to ensure a consistent approach to solving similar programs.

  • Expected to work across the division to ensure efficient and effective staffing for all programs.

  • Given the opportunity, help to grow programs through excellent customer interaction and outstanding program performance.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:


  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS or related, and 10 plus years of directly related Engineering experience.


  • Minimum of 10-years’ experience in an engineering field.

  • Experience leading and/or managing small technical teams and programs.

  • Experience with the full system lifecycle, either as a developer or a system engineer.

  • Experience in coordination and installation of systems to customer locations.

Required Skills:

  • Technical writing skills to include: requirements documentation, concepts of operation, software release notes, user guides, and maintenance manuals.

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

  • Proven ability to work effectively in dynamic team environments.

  • Able to work independently.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience in program financial management.

  • Demonstrated program management experience.

  • Experience with digital signal processing hardware and software.

  • Working knowledge of RF collection systems.
